Selling houses in Morphett Vale can be seasonal.  Many potential vendors will only consider putting their home on the market in the Spring around October or just after the Christmas break in January.   That can be good but remember that is what everyone else is thinking but this can result in a lot fewer homes for sale in the colder months.

An interesting anecdote on this phenomena was when the Director of this company, Mark Nielsen, was selling his own rental property in 2003 in the middle of winter.   One lady attended the open inspection and waited until every one else had left then came to speak to Mark.  She stood still;   looked to the left then looked to the right then slowly cast her eye over the front of the yard then she said, “I really hate your place but there’s nothing else around!”

She offered the highest price up to that time but needless to say she didn’t get it.   Which reminds us of the unspoken rule of real estate, or any type of sales for that matter;
